ABOUT HELIOS COMPLY Helios Comply (helioscomply.com) is an early-stage B2B SaaS product that helps small and mid-sized businesses manage OSHA SDS (Safety Data Sheet) compliance. Failure to comply with OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard is the second most-cited OSHA violation, carrying fines of $16.5K per incident and up to $165.5K for repeat offenses. Our product makes compliance effortless and affordable. TARGET CUSTOMER - Blue-collar SMBs: pest control, janitorial, auto repair, small manufacturing, construction, food service - 10-60 employees, 2-3 locations, $500K-$3MM in revenue - Owner or safety manager is the buyer - Average ACV: $500-$1,000/year - Price point is low enough to be an impulse buy relative to the fine risk CURRENT STATE We launched recently and are in early-stage customer acquisition. What's live today: - Website live with strong industry-specific pages but known technical SEO gaps (pages not yet indexed, site speed, schema) - Google Ads running for ~2 weeks ($100/week, focused on "OSHA SDS software" and related keywords) - Cold email running via Instantly AI (~300 contacts seeded, messaging focused on fine risk) - Cold calling starting soon (one inside sales rep, pure commission) - Self-serve Stripe signup; no sales motion required to close --- PHASE 1: GROWTH MARKETING BUILD-OUT We are looking for a growth marketer to own our entire digital customer acquisition funnel, end-to-end. This is not a specialist role -- we want one person who can think across channels, prioritize ruthlessly, and build a machine that produces customers at an efficient cost. Scope includes: Website Optimization - Technical SEO -- site speed, schema, indexation, and a handful of broken basics need to be fixed before organic can work - GTM tracking -- our funnel needs to be properly tagged so we can measure traffic and conversions - SEO, GEO, and content -- our industry pages are strong but the site has no organic footprint yet; there is real opportunity here - Conversion optimization -- landing pages and the website need to convert the traffic we're already buying Paid Acquisition - Paid search -- Google Ads is live but early-stage; needs structure, tighter targeting, and proper tracking - Paid social -- we haven't tested this yet; we're open to it if you make the case - Other channels -- Google My Business and anything else you think belongs in the mix given our ICP Budget: We expect Phase 1 to cost $3,000-$6,000 but are open to bids outside this range. --- PHASE 2: ONGOING MANAGEMENT Once the fundamentals are built, we're looking for someone to manage this on an ongoing basis -- ad spend across platforms, continued content production if needed, and ongoing optimization. --- GOALS We track two things above everything else: - Revenue: paying customers acquired - Payback period: how many months it takes us to recoup our CAC from subscription revenue. At our price point (roughly $50-$80/month), a one-month payback means a ~$50-$80 CAC. We view everything else (traffic, impressions, click-through rates) as inputs into these two numbers, not goals in themselves. --- HOW TO APPLY We're keeping this open-ended intentionally. Please submit a proposal that answers the following: 1. How would you sequence this work? Where would you focus first and in what order? What key milestones would you track, and how long would the different pieces take? 2. What role does content and organic social play? Is it a requirement or a distraction at this stage? 3. How would you measure success? What goals would you set for revenue, payback period, and any other KPIs? 4. What relevant experience do you have? Please give us specific examples -- particularly if they involve (a) building from scratch, (b) B2B SaaS or SMB-focused growth work, or (c) low-ACV, high-volume acquisition. 5. What is your proposed structure, budget, and timeline for Phase 1? 6. What is your proposed structure, budget, and timeline for Phase 2? Are you open to a success-fee arrangement -- for example, payment per conversion or a percentage of sales?
