UK Health and Safety Specialist – Freelance Template Review

We are a UK publisher of editable business and compliance templates seeking an experienced UK health and safety professional to review and update selected documents. This is publishing work, not customer consultancy. You will not inspect workplaces, advise subscribers, approve risk assessments, certify compliance or act as a competent person. The role For an agreed monthly batch, you will: Check content against current UK law, HSE guidance, ACOPs and recognised good practice. Correct inaccurate, outdated or unclear wording. Improve usability for SMEs. Provide tracked and clean versions. Briefly explain material changes and cite key sources. Flag related documents and matters requiring specialist input. Terms Initial one-month paid trial. £750 fixed fee. Approximately seven hours of work. Ongoing monthly work may follow if the trial is successful. Additional work agreed separately. Requirements Strong current UK health and safety experience. Excellent drafting and editing skills. Experience reviewing policies, procedures, risk assessments or technical guidance. Clear understanding of the difference between law, ACOPs, guidance and good practice.
