Healthcare Compliance Specialist

Healthcare Compliance Specialist (HIPAA, ISO 27001 & GDPR) We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Compliance Specialist to help us review and strengthen the compliance posture of our healthcare SaaS platform, SnabbHealth. SnabbHealth enables clinics and hospitals to manage appointments, patient information, and daily operations. As we continue to grow, we want to ensure our platform aligns with industry-leading security and privacy standards. Responsibilities * Review our existing application architecture and security practices. * Perform a gap analysis for HIPAA, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance. * Recommend and help implement required technical and administrative controls. * Develop or review compliance documentation, including policies and procedures. * Advise on data protection, encryption, access controls, audit logging, and incident response. * Support us in preparing for future compliance audits and certifications. Requirements * Proven experience with HIPAA, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance. * Experience working with healthcare software, EHR/EMR, or healthcare SaaS products. * Strong understanding of healthcare data security and privacy best practices. * Ability to provide practical, implementation-focused recommendations. * Excellent communication skills. Nice to Have * Experience preparing organizations for ISO 27001 certification. * Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Familiarity with penetration testing, risk assessments, and security frameworks.
