Help marketing a social media app

Looking for someone with experience with advertising and marketing mobile apps that drives in real downloads and app growth. I recently launched a social media platform for people living with chronic illness. So far I’ve only done a few paid campaigns on IG and TikTok. I tried to build a small social media presence before but even those people don’t seem to download even though they followed knowing it’s for my new app. This is a small indie project that I’ve created based on my own experience living with a chronic illness so I don’t have a large budget to start but can increase if I start to see some positive results. Open to any help I can get new strategies, content ideas, influencer connections (micro influencers) etc. I’m new to all this so could use some help and guidance.
