High-Octane Business Development VA (M&A / Business Brokerage) – 100% Fluent, Fearless & OCD-Organized Job Description Are you a relentless, aggressive business development professional who thrives on the phone, loves the hunt, and possesses fanatical attention to detail? If you are a Virtual Assistant who prefers to hide behind emails, fears cold calling, or needs hand-holding to get tasks done—do not apply to this job. We are looking for a true "killer" in business development who can take charge of our pipeline, lead the process, and turn raw leads into closed deals. We are a fast-growing business brokerage specializing in high-value niche service industries (specifically Septic, Portable Sanitation, and Water Well Drilling). We invest heavily in industry trade shows and digital sourcing, and we need a confident, self-starting professional to maximize every single opportunity. The Problem We Are Solving (Why We Need You) We have zero patience for candidates who "over-promise and under-deliver." We need someone who doesn't just claim to know the business broker space, but who actually understands how to navigate conversations with business owners nearing retirement. You must be completely comfortable picking up the phone, taking charge of the lead-generation process, and building out standard operating procedures (SOPs) without being asked. Key Responsibilities Conference Lead Monetization: We exhibit at major industry conferences and bring back hundreds of high-quality leads. Your primary job is to aggressively and relentlessly follow up with these business owners to book them for a Free Business Valuation. Fearless Cold Outreach: Dial and engage with business owners daily. You must be completely confident leading conversations, handling objections, and positioning our firm as the expert. Digital Lead Sourcing: Proactively hunt for new opportunities and data-mine using LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, and Industry Association listings. Fanatical Lead Tracking & Organization: You must be borderline OCD when it comes to organization. Every interaction, detail, and follow-up task must be perfectly logged and tracked. No lead can ever go by the wayside. Process Leadership: Figure out how to solve problems independently. If a process is broken, fix it. If an SOP doesn't exist, write it. Required Qualifications & Skills Flawless English Communication: Absolute fluency in English with exceptional verbal and written skills. Clear, natural pronunciation with minimal-to-no accent is required for high-level B2B phone conversations with American business owners. Proven BD/Sales Track Record: You must provide proven examples or data of your past business development success, outbound calling performance, or appointment setting. The "Figure It Out" Factor: Exceptional problem-solving skills. You don't wait to be told what to do; you learn, adapt, and execute on your own initiative. Availability: Must be able to work consistently during Central Standard Time (CST) business hours.
