Hiring: Legal Transcriptionist – Court Proceedings

We are looking for experienced Legal Transcriptionists to work on court proceeding transcription projects. Key Responsibilities: Transcribe court proceedings and other legal audio/video recordings accurately Identify speakers and use appropriate legal terminology Follow required formatting and transcription guidelines Maintain strict confidentiality of all legal and case-related information Proofread transcripts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and completeness Meet assigned turnaround times and deadlines Requirements: Prior experience in legal or court transcription Strong understanding of legal terminology and court proceedings Excellent English listening, grammar, and punctuation skills Ability to handle recordings with multiple speakers and varying audio quality High level of accuracy and attention to detail Reliable internet connection and required transcription equipment/software Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data-security requirements Preferred: Previous experience transcribing hearings, depositions, trials, testimonies, or other court proceedings Familiarity with court transcript formatting and speaker identification Ability to work on high-volume or time-sensitive assignments Engagement: Freelance / Contract Work Location: Remote Interested and qualified legal transcriptionists are encouraged to apply with details of their legal transcription experience, availability, turnaround capacity, and expected rate.
