Scriptwriter Wanted – Fun History Storytelling Channel I’m looking for a highly creative scriptwriter to write long-form YouTube scripts for a history-based storytelling channel. These are not boring history essays and they are not standard explainer scripts. Each video is written from the perspective of someone living through a real historical event, making the viewer feel like they are actually there (Second person POV). Each script will need to be around 14–20 minutes long (Around 2700 words) and written in a second person pov. What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll take a historical topic and turn it into a first-person narrative by: • Researching the real history, timeline, setting, and important details • Writing from the perspective of someone who lived during that time • Making the viewer feel like they are experiencing the event firsthand • Building tension, curiosity, and momentum throughout the script • Adding personality, humor, and human reactions so the story feels alive • Explaining the history naturally through the story, not like a lecture • Turning strange, dark, or fascinating historical details into entertaining moments • Coming up with an entertaining and audience grabbing hook then building a story around that. The scripts should feel cinematic, fun, and easy to listen to, while still being factually grounded. I’m specifically looking for writers who can find a strong narrative angle and make history feel exciting, weird, dramatic, and human - not writers who simply summarize Wikipedia.
