About the Project We're building a comprehensive B2B procurement platform for the hospitality industry with 8,000+ products across 580+ categories. We have the complete product database but need to connect suppliers to each category to create a functional marketplace. Your Mission Find and verify qualified suppliers for hospitality procurement categories including: Food & Beverage (101 categories, 1,133+ products) Housekeeping & Accommodation (120 categories, 279+ products) Engineering & Maintenance (111 categories, 558+ products) Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (86 categories, 495+ products) Architecture & Design (50 categories, 400+ products) Plus 3 additional major departments What We're Looking For Required Experience: 3+ years in hotel/accommodation and/or hospitality procurement, purchasing, or supply chain Direct experience sourcing products for hotels, resorts, restaurants, or catering operations Existing relationships with hospitality suppliers (major advantage) Understanding of hotel/restaurant operational needs and product specifications Your Role: Research and identify qualified suppliers for assigned product categories Verify supplier credibility, product range, and delivery capabilities Document supplier contact details and product catalog matching Prioritize high-volume/high-value categories first What You'll Deliver For each supplier you identify: Company name and verified contact details Product categories they supply (mapped to our database) Supplier type (manufacturer, wholesaler, importer, made to order) Geographic coverage (Australia, Canada, etc. based on your region) Website/catalog links Any pricing information available (optional but valuable) Target: 5-10 verified suppliers per major category (Food & Beverage, Equipment, Housekeeping, etc.) Project Details Budget: Negotiable based on experience and delivery Duration: 4-8 weeks (part-time or full-time) Location: Remote (prefer candidates with hospitality industry networks Why This Project Matters You're helping create a procurement platform that will: Streamline hotel/restaurant purchasing Connect quality suppliers with hospitality buyers Save operators time and money on procurement To Apply Please include: Your hospitality procurement background (which property types, what categories) Any existing supplier relationships you can leverage Your approach to researching and verifying suppliers Expected timeline and rates Bonus points if you have: Worked in hotel purchasing/procurement departments Experience with hospitality group purchasing organizations Contacts with major hospitality suppliers Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements Keywords: hospitality procurement, hotel purchasing, restaurant supply chain, supplier sourcing, B2B marketplace, food service suppliers, hotel equipment suppliers, hospitality industry research
