Project Overview The purpose of this project is to rebuild and enhance our clients website while improving user experience, SEO, AI discoverability, product navigation, and lead generation. Development includes creating reusable HubSpot modules, implementing structured data, improving site architecture, fixing technical SEO issues, and building customer journey tracking. Phase 1 — Infrastructure & Foundation 1. Sandbox Environment Scope Clone production website into HubSpot sandbox Configure staging environment Ensure modules, templates, global content, navigation, and assets are copied Verify functionality before development begins Deliverables Fully functional staging environment Development isolated from production 2. HubSpot Theme Audit Scope Review the existing HubSpot implementation including: Theme structure Global modules Custom modules Templates CSS organization JavaScript Existing reusable components Identify: Unused modules Duplicate functionality Technical debt Opportunities for reusable components Deliverables Theme audit report Recommendations before development Phase 3 — Product Architecture 3. Product Overview Page Create a new Product Overview page that becomes the primary navigation hub. Features Summarize every product family Explain differences between families Quick navigation Product cards CTA sections SEO optimized Requirements Mobile responsive Editable through HubSpot Reusable modules 4. Product Family Navigation Every product listing should link directly to its corresponding Product Family page. Parametric Product Selector Develop a searchable product selector allowing users to compare products using technical specifications. Product Datasheet Schema Implement structured technical data for approximately eight datasheet pages. Include DownloadAction schema Version metadata File information Download tracking SEO enhancements 11. Homepage & Product Metadata Improve metadata for key pages. Schema Validation Validate every implementation using: Google Rich Results Test Schema.org Validator Resolve all warnings and errors. Technical SEO 13. 301 Redirect Cleanup Review existing redirects and implement missing redirects. Scope Better indexing Improved product matching Synonyms Product family awareness Faster results Better relevance General Development Standards The developer is expected to: Follow HubSpot CMS best practices Create reusable modules whenever practical Maintain responsive layouts Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA where feasible) Optimize for Core Web Vitals Minify and optimize CSS/JS where appropriate Avoid duplicate code Document custom functionality Test across current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari Deliverables Upon project completion, the developer will provide: Fully functional HubSpot implementation Reusable custom modules Product Overview page Parametric Product Selector Breadcrumb module PMD Advantages module Complete structured data implementation Datasheet schema implementation Software download enhancements Metadata improvements Internal linking enhancements 301 redirect implementation Customer journey tracking Search functionality improvements Technical documentation for custom modules and implementations Acceptance Criteria The project will be considered complete when: All tasks outlined above are implemented and tested. No critical errors remain in HubSpot, Google Rich Results, or Schema validation. The website functions correctly across supported browsers and devices. All reusable modules are editable through the HubSpot CMS. Technical SEO enhancements and tracking are verified and documented. Final approval is received following QA and client review.
