Industrial Packaging Designer for Premium Consumer Electronics Product

We’re developing a premium consumer electronics product and are looking for an experienced packaging designer who can create a complete retail packaging solution—from structural design through production-ready files. This is not just a graphic design project. We are looking for someone who understands product packaging, manufacturing, materials, and the customer unboxing experience. What we need Design a premium retail package for a desktop electronic device that includes: * Structural packaging design * Exterior box design * Interior insert design * Protection for shipping and retail presentation * Premium unboxing experience * Production-ready files for manufacturing The packaging should securely hold: * Main device * USB cable * Quick Start Guide * Small accessories (if needed) Deliverables * Packaging concept(s) * Structural dielines * 3D mockups/renders * Print-ready artwork * Manufacturing-ready files * Material recommendations * Recommendations for finishes (soft-touch, foil, embossing, etc.) * Guidance on manufacturing If you have experience working with packaging manufacturers that can produce low-quantity samples, that’s a significant advantage. Ideal Experience Please apply only if you have experience designing packaging for products such as: * Consumer electronics * Smart home devices * Premium accessories * Apple-style retail packaging * Kickstarter products * Crowdfunded hardware Experience with rigid boxes, magnetic boxes, molded pulp, EVA foam, or custom inserts is highly preferred.
