Inside Sales / Client Re-Engagement Specialist for a Local Gym

We're a local gym with a loyal community and a list of roughly 4,000 past and current clients. We're looking for a personable, motivated phone professional to reconnect with these members, re-sell them on what we offer, and help bring lapsed clients back through the door. This is a high-volume outbound calling role, but it's about much more than dialing numbers. You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice of our gym, listening to people, answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding them through signing back up. You're not just a receptionist; you're a services specialist who can build rapport, sell the value of membership, and smoothly onboard returning clients. What You'll Do Call through our existing client list (~4,000 contacts) to re-engage lapsed and current members Sell the value of membership and encourage clients to sign up again Build genuine rapport and represent our brand warmly and professionally Answer questions about memberships, pricing, classes, and services Walk returning clients through the sign-up and onboarding process Track call outcomes, follow up as needed, and report on progress What We're Looking For Proven phone sales, telemarketing, or customer re-engagement experience Warm, personable, and genuinely good at talking to people Comfortable handling objections and turning a "maybe" into a "yes" Self-motivated and organized — able to work through a large list independently Clear, professional spoken English and a reliable phone/internet setup Bonus: experience in fitness, health, or membership-based businesses
