Instagram Engagement Specialist — Daily Manual Engagement to Grow Following (Ongoing)

We're a digital marketing agency looking for an Instagram engagement specialist to handle daily, manual engagement on our business account. Content is already handled — we post 5x/day (3 carousels, 2 static posts) plus daily stories. We do NOT need you to create or schedule posts. Your entire focus is engagement: growing our following through smart, consistent, manual community interaction. What You'll Do (Daily) Targeted commenting on posts from our ideal audience — thoughtful, real comments, not generic emoji drops Engage with followers of competitor and adjacent accounts so the right people discover us Reply to every comment and DM on our posts quickly Story engagement — poll votes, reactions, replies within our niche Engage back with everyone who engages with us — follows, replies, building the loop Hashtag and location-based engagement in our target market Spread engagement across the day to stay within Instagram's limits and avoid flags The Goal We're starting at 72 followers and want to grow to 200–350 followers within 2 weeks through legitimate manual engagement, then continue growing month over month. This is an ongoing role — if you perform, this is steady long-term work. Who We're Looking For Proven experience growing IG accounts through manual engagement (show examples) Understands Instagram's rate limits and how to grow WITHOUT bots, follow/unfollow spam, or bought followers Strong written English for natural, on-brand comments and DMs Reliable, self-managing, consistent — engagement has to happen every day Available for spread-out daily coverage Important We do NOT want bots, automation tools, or purchased followers. We're an agency and the health of this account matters — fake followers hurt us. Any use of automation or bought followers ends the contract immediately.
