Educational Institute Seeks Experienced Canva Production Artist to Execute an Established Visual System (No Creative Interpretation) Educational Institute Seeks Experienced Canva Production Artist to Execute an Established Visual System (No Creative Interpretation) Position An educational institute is seeking an experienced Canva Production Artist to reproduce an established visual system with editorial precision. This is not a graphic design position. This is not a branding project. This is not a creative direction role. The visual direction, copy, typography, imagery, spacing, hierarchy, and emotional narrative have already been created. Your role is to reproduce the approved master with exceptional accuracy. If you enjoy inventing, redesigning, improving, or adding your own creative ideas, this position is not a good fit. Ideal Candidate The ideal Canva Production Artist has experience producing work for: educational institutions universities museums editorial publications annual reports magazines executive presentations luxury brands corporate communications You enjoy precision more than creativity. You appreciate systems. You notice details. You believe excellence is found in faithful execution. Production Standards Every supplied asset is considered approved. Unless written authorization is received from the Client before production begins, do not change any aspect of the Master Production File. This includes, but is not limited to: Copy Do not: rewrite shorten expand simplify "improve" edit punctuation add commas remove commas change periods alter capitalization modify line breaks Every word and every punctuation mark is intentionally placed. Images Do not: replace images crop differently enlarge reduce mirror flip substitute stock photography add decorative elements remove approved objects recolor images reposition subjects Each image is an approved visual asset. Typography Maintain exactly: font size weight leading tracking alignment hierarchy margins white space Typography is part of the visual identity. Layout Maintain exactly: spacing proportions negative space logo placement image placement text placement visual hierarchy balance Do not "make it look better." It has already been art directed. Timeline & Milestones Project Duration 7 to 10 calendar days. The selected Canva Production Artist must reserve adequate production time to complete the project within this schedule. Acceptance Standard Deliverables are evaluated against the supplied Master Production File. Evaluation is objective. The submission either: conforms to the approved production specifications, or does not conform. Similarity is not sufficient. Creative interpretation is not acceptable. Payment Release Policy Payment is earned only when the submitted milestone matches the approved specifications and receives written approval from the Client. Payment is not earned by: time invested design experience effort artistic rationale industry standards personal preference alternative design solutions explanations submitted after delivery The only basis for payment is conformity with the approved production specifications. Failure to Meet Production Specifications A milestone will be considered Not Delivered if any unapproved change is made, including but not limited to: changing one word adding or removing a comma changing punctuation modifying typography altering spacing substituting imagery changing crops moving logos changing hierarchy adjusting margins altering alignment introducing unapproved visual elements When this occurs: payment for that milestone will not be released; the Production Artist must revise the work until it conforms to the approved specifications; and repeated failure to follow the Master Production File may result in termination of the project at the Client's discretion. Professional explanations, creative opinions, or design philosophies do not replace compliance with the written specifications. Applicant Requirements To be considered, your proposal must include: Three Canva projects demonstrating precise execution of an established visual direction. A brief description of your role in each project, clearly stating whether you originated the design or faithfully reproduced an existing design system. The following statement copied exactly into your proposal: "I understand this is a production role, not a creative design role. I will not change copy, punctuation, typography, images, spacing, layout, or visual hierarchy without written approval from the Client." Proposals that omit this statement or fail to provide three relevant work samples will not be considered. Failure to Perform The Client's expectation is exact production of the approved Master Production File. Each milestone is evaluated against the written specifications and approved visual assets. A milestone is considered Delivered only when it conforms exactly to those specifications and receives written approval from the Client. If the submitted work contains any unapproved deviation, including changes to copy, punctuation, typography, spacing, imagery, layout, hierarchy, or any other element of the approved visual direction, the milestone will be considered Not Delivered. The Canva Production Artist will be given one (1) opportunity to correct all identified production errors. If the revised submission still fails to conform to the approved specifications: the milestone will not be approved; no payment will be released for that milestone; and the Client reserves the right to terminate the contract without proceeding to any remaining milestones. No artistic rationale, design philosophy, explanation, or alternative interpretation will substitute for compliance with the written specifications. The acceptance standard for this project is exact production, not substantial similarity or creative interpretation. Scope Control This project is evaluated solely on compliance with the approved Master Production File. The Client will not evaluate, compare, or consider alternative layouts, design suggestions, stylistic revisions, or "improved" versions unless the Client has requested them in writing. Work performed outside the written specifications is outside the scope of this engagement and will not be considered in milestone approval.
