Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Claims and Reimbursement Specialist to help recover approximately $10,000 in outstanding insurance reimbursements. We've encountered ongoing challenges obtaining payment from insurance carriers and are looking for someone who understands the insurance claims process, can identify next steps, and help drive claims toward resolution. The ideal candidate has experience working directly with insurance companies, managing denied or delayed claims, and navigating reimbursement issues efficiently. Responsibilities Review existing claims and supporting documentation Identify reasons for delays, denials, or non-payment Communicate directly with insurance carriers and payer representatives Track claim status and reimbursement opportunities Submit appeals, corrections, or additional documentation as needed Develop a clear action plan for recovering outstanding reimbursements Provide regular progress updates and recommendations Qualifications 3+ years of experience in insurance claims, reimbursement, medical billing, revenue cycle management, or a related field Strong understanding of insurance carrier processes and claim resolution Experience handling denied, delayed, or underpaid claims Excellent communication and follow-up skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion Preferred Experience Healthcare or medical billing background Experience with claim appeals and reimbursement recovery Familiarity with commercial insurance carriers and payer relations To Apply Please include: A summary of your relevant experience Examples of similar reimbursement or claims recovery projects Your approach to resolving delayed or denied claims Your hourly rate and availability We're looking for someone who can quickly assess the situation, navigate the insurance process effectively, and help maximize reimbursement recovery.
