Insurance sales development rep

The Remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the engine behind our pipeline. This role is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and setting quote appointments for our licensed producers, working entirely from a remote setting while staying tightly connected to the agency's daily metrics, coaching rhythm, and lead management systems. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven, coachable sales professional who thrives on outbound activity and wants a clear path toward licensing and career growth in insurance and financial services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Make outbound calls and follow-ups to internet leads, warm referrals, and in-house prospects to generate quote opportunities. • Qualify prospects by gathering household, auto, property, and life insurance needs information ahead of producer hand-off. • Schedule and confirm quote appointments on producers' calendars, following agency scheduling standards. • Maintain accurate, real-time activity logs in the CRM and daily KRA tracker, including calls, contacts, and quote opportunities. • Follow established lead scoring practices (Hot/Warm/Cold) to prioritize outreach and maximize conversion. • Participate in daily huddles, weekly 1:1 coaching, and ongoing sales training sessions via video conference. • Send timely, professional follow-up communications (phone, text, email) consistent with agency scripts and compliance standards. • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity benchmarks for dials, talk time, and quote opportunities set.
