Interior Designer Needed for 4* Hotel Ballroom Concept Design in Singapore

We are looking for an interior designer to develop a simple, elegant and cost-effective renovation concept for the following existing hotel function spaces for a 4* Hotel in Singapore: * Venus Ballroom * Jupiter Ballroom * VIP rooms * Foyer and pre-function areas serving these spaces The renovation will focus mainly on upgrading the existing walls using **prefabricated or modular wall-cladding materials**. This is not intended to be a major structural renovation. On-site photographs of all relevant areas will be provided to the selected designer. ## Design Objective The spaces are used for weddings, corporate functions, conferences, dinners, meetings and other events. The design should: * Create a more luxurious and contemporary appearance * Remain neutral and flexible for different types of events * Use practical prefabricated wall-cladding systems * Minimise demolition, wet works and disruption to hotel operations * Be cost-effective and straightforward for a local contractor to install * Coordinate with the existing flooring, ceilings, doors and lighting ## Scope of Work The designer will be expected to: * Review the on-site photographs, available plans and measurements * Develop a coordinated design concept for Venus, Jupiter, the VIP rooms and their foyer areas * Propose suitable prefabricated wall-cladding materials * Design the wall-panel arrangement, proportions, trims and feature-wall elements * Recommend colours, textures and finishes * Identify which walls should receive full cladding, partial cladding or feature treatments * Improve the appearance of columns, entrances, doors and transition areas * Ensure the different rooms have a consistent overall identity while allowing each space to have its own character * Consider durability, maintenance, installation method and replacement of damaged panels * Allow for access panels, switches, signage and existing building services * Recommend simple lighting or decorative improvements where these would enhance the wall-cladding design Suitable materials may include: * Prefabricated timber-look panels * Laminate or veneer-finished panels * Fluted or ribbed wall panels * Upholstered or acoustic fabric panels * Lightweight stone-look panels * Metal trims and decorative inserts * Modular acoustic panels * Other commercial-grade prefabricated systems All proposed materials should be suitable for a high-traffic hotel and events environment. ## Required Deliverables * Overall concept and mood board * Proposed colour and material palette * Individual design proposals for Venus, Jupiter, the VIP rooms and foyer areas * Wall elevations showing panel sizes, patterns and arrangements * Concept renderings of the key spaces * Details for trims, corners, doors, columns and wall junctions * Basic material specifications * Suggested prefabricated products, suppliers or equivalent materials * One or two rounds of design revisions The final design should provide sufficient information for us to brief a local contractor and obtain renovation quotations. ## Ideal Designer We prefer a designer with experience in: * Hotel or hospitality interiors * Ballrooms, meeting rooms or event venues * Prefabricated wall-cladding systems * Commercial renovation projects * Cost-effective refurbishment of existing spaces Please include relevant portfolio examples, particularly projects involving ballrooms, hotel function rooms, feature walls or modular wall panels.
