Irish Bookkeeper

Remote Bookkeeper – Irish Clients (Part-Time / Full-Time / Freelance) Abbey Blue Group is expanding its bookkeeping and business services division and is seeking experienced bookkeepers to support a growing portfolio of Irish SME clients. This is a remote position and we welcome applications from Ireland and internationally. Responsibilities: * Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for Irish businesses * Bank reconciliations * Processing sales and purchase invoices * VAT preparation and reporting * Payroll experience (advantageous but not essential) * Assisting with month-end bookkeeping processes * Working with cloud accounting systems * Communicating with our internal team regarding client queries Requirements: * Experience providing bookkeeping services to Irish companies * Good understanding of Irish VAT and bookkeeping requirements * Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Surf Accounts, Big Red Cloud, or similar * Strong attention to detail * Excellent written English * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred: * Experience working for an Irish accountancy or bookkeeping firm * Payroll experience * Accounting technician or bookkeeping qualifications To Apply, Please Include: 1.
