Italian Virtual Assistant

I’m traveling through Sicily in August and need a reliable virtual assistant who can help me handle travel logistics and communications while I’m there. This is a remote, part-time role during normal Italian business hours. You do not need to travel with me. I’m looking for someone who is comfortable making phone calls, sending messages, translating short conversations, and helping resolve practical issues as they come up. Examples of things you may help with: - Calling hotels, car-rental locations, tour operators, restaurants, parking garages, or other local businesses - Communicating in Italian and English when a business does not have English-speaking staff - Confirming reservation details, arrival instructions, meeting points, parking information, and business hours - Helping resolve travel issues such as a delayed tour, a confusing pickup location, a car-rental question, or a hotel check-in problem - Translating Italian messages, emails, signs, or short phone conversations into clear English - Sending concise updates by WhatsApp or another messaging app - Doing occasional local research when needed, such as finding a pharmacy, parking option, restaurant, boat tour meeting point, or transportation alternative You should be fluent in both Italian and English, comfortable speaking on the phone, responsive during agreed working hours, and good at dealing calmly with businesses and small logistical problems. Sicily-based or Italy-based candidates are strongly preferred, since familiarity with local language, businesses, parking/ZTL rules, and travel norms would be useful. This role is not about making purchases or changing reservations independently. I will make final decisions. Your role is to communicate, gather information, translate, and help me move quickly when something comes up.
