*JAPAN* Looking for researchers on social media & online media

Project Overview We are conducting a research project to understand the best media channels for reaching foreign residents living in Japan who are not fluent in Japanese. We are looking for freelancers currently living in Japan from the following nationalities: - China - South Korea - Nepal - Vietnam - Myanmar - Philippines - Taiwan - India - USA - Indonesia - Bangladesh - Malaysia - Uzbekistan - Pakistan - Turkey - Iran - Thailand - Sri Lanka - Mongolia - Cambodia Applicants may apply for Task 1, Task 2, or both. Please indicate in your proposal which task(s) you are interested in. Task 1: Media Channel Research Conduct desk research to identify the media channels commonly used by people from your home country living in Japan, including news websites, social media platforms, influencers, online communities, and other relevant information sources. Requirements: - Currently living in Japan - Native speaker of one of the target nationalities/languages - Able to communicate in English Budget: USD 75 Task 2: Interview Moderation Conduct a 60-minute interview with a participant from your home country living in Japan to understand how they access information, what media they use, and why they use those sources. An interview guide will be provided. Requirements - Native speaker of one of the target nationalities/languages - Fluent in Japanese (moderation will be conducted in Japanese and your native language as needed) - Previous moderation experience is not required - Do not have to be living in Japan Budget: USD 50 per completed 60-minute interview (Expected to have 3 interviews)
