Bilingual Paralegal Support Specialist

We are a U.S. immigration law firm seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, bilingual English/Spanish immigration filing support specialist for ongoing remote work. This position is focused on immigration case support, court and agency filings, FOIA requests, file requests, biometrics-related tasks, filing fees, and follow-up. This is not just a data-entry position. We need someone who can take ownership of assigned tasks, track them carefully, follow up until completed, and communicate clearly with the supervising attorney and staff. Primary Duties: The immigration filing support specialist will be responsible for tasks including following to completion: 1. EOIR, USCIS, and OBIM FOIA requests 2. FBI fingerprint / identity history requests 3. Prior attorney file requests 4. EOIR (Immigration Court) biometrics requests 5. Immigration Court (589/42B) fee payments 6. EROP / electronic Record of Proceedings conversion requests 7. E-28 and E-33 filings through EOIR / ECAS 8. Document request correspondent to clients 9. Tracking each assigned task until completion, including follow-up, saving receipts/proof, and updating the firm’s tracking system Required Qualifications: Applicants must have- • Fluency in English and Spanish • Law degree • Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM • Prior immigration, paralegal, legal, or court filing experience preferred • Ability to follow detailed instructions exactly • Strong attention to detail and follow-up habits • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks • Comfort working with online government filing portals • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive client information Technical and Workspace Requirements: This is a remote position. Applicant must have- • Two connected computer monitors • Stable high-speed internet • Reliable electricity • Professional, quiet, and properly lit workspace • Professional attire for video meetings • Working webcam and microphone • Ability to attend video meetings when required Important This position requires ownership. We do not need someone who waits for reminders. We need someone who tracks assigned work, follows up, saves proof, updates the file, and confirms completion. To apply, please include: 1.
