IP Lawyer & DMCA Takedown Specialist for Trademark Filing, IP Protection & Social Media Monitoring

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property attorney and DMCA takedown specialist to help us protect and enforce our intellectual property on an ongoing basis. This is a long-term engagement with recurring legal and monitoring work. Responsibilities: - Prepare and file DMCA takedown requests against infringing content across websites, marketplaces, and social media platforms. - File and prosecute trademark applications (including searches, clearance, responses to office actions, and renewals). - Advise on overall IP strategy and help protect our brand, copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property. - Monitor social media and the web for unauthorized use, infringement, counterfeiting, and brand impersonation, and recommend/take enforcement action. - Draft cease-and-desist letters and other IP enforcement correspondence as needed. - Keep us informed of relevant deadlines, filings, and the status of ongoing matters. Ideal candidate: - Licensed attorney with strong experience in U.S. intellectual property law (trademark, copyright, and DMCA). - Proven track record filing successful DMCA takedowns and trademark registrations. - Familiarity with platform-specific IP reporting/takedown processes (e.g., major social media and e-commerce platforms). - Detail-oriented, responsive, and able to communicate clearly about legal options and risks. - Comfortable with a recurring, ongoing relationship rather than a one-off project.
