Job description: We are a UK based consultancy working in international development and the UK public sector. We are preparing a bid for a Scottish Government-funded arts programme evaluation and need a designer to join our proposal as the named design associate, working alongside us to deliver the outputs if we win. The work: We anticipate this would be three report-style deliverables, with a range of visual inputs. - Executive summary - 2 x Reports - Engaging, accessible and well-designed visual approaches to sharing the findings Content will be largely qualitative and narrative, drawn from interviews and community engagement. We expect the task to be mainly editorial report design and infographic-style summarisation of themes and quotes. The ToR is vague on the last point and we expect the client will be receptive to proposing different media to communicate findings with the audience (e.g. animation, video, web-based). Requirements: WCAG 2.1 AA accessible design (colour contrast, structure, alt text conventions) Comfortable turning narrative/qualitative findings into clear visual summaries Portfolio showing report or publication design, ideally with public sector, NGO or arts sector clients Experience working within branding guidelines Process: Please tell us about your experience and link us to your portfolio. If we think you would be a good fit, we'll do a short consultation call (unpaid) to discuss expectations and how best to include you in the bid. The design component would be integrated into the workplan of the project, so it may not occur within the next few months. We expect the project would be spread out over the next year.
