Lead Advertising Analyst Position Summary The Lead Advertising Analyst is responsible for owning the execution and performance of assigned Amazon advertising accounts. This role independently manages campaigns, analyzes performance data, identifies opportunities for growth, and executes advertising strategies that align with client objectives. Lead Advertising Analysts are trusted account owners who consistently deliver high-quality work, proactively communicate risks and opportunities, and continuously develop their strategic thinking. While they may assist with onboarding or share best practices, their primary responsibility is the success of their own portfolio—not managing other team members. Key Responsibilities Account Ownership Independently manage assigned Amazon advertising accounts. Execute advertising strategies developed with the Senior Account Strategist (SAS). Monitor account performance daily and make timely optimizations. Maintain campaign health across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP (where applicable). Ensure accounts remain aligned with client goals, budgets, and profitability targets. Identify risks before they negatively impact performance and recommend solutions. Campaign Management Launch, optimize, and maintain advertising campaigns. Perform keyword, targeting, bidding, placement, and budget optimizations. Analyze search term reports and identify scaling opportunities. Continuously test new advertising initiatives and optimization tactics. Maintain account organization and campaign hygiene. Performance Analysis Monitor KPIs including: ACOS TACOS ROAS CTR CVR CPC Spend Sales New-to-brand metrics (where applicable) Identify trends, opportunities, and performance issues. Translate data into actionable recommendations. Understand each client's business objectives and align advertising decisions accordingly. Client Support Support client communication through Slack, email, or meeting preparation when requested by the Senior Lead Advertising Analyst or Senior Account Strategist. Provide clear updates on advertising performance. Escalate major risks or opportunities promptly. Maintain accurate documentation of strategic decisions and action items. Operational Excellence Follow all internal SOPs and advertising best practices. Keep Asana tasks updated and completed on time. Maintain organized documentation within client workspaces. Meet internal turnaround time expectations. Ensure advertising recommendations are implemented accurately. Continuous Improvement Stay current with Amazon Advertising updates and industry best practices. Share optimization ideas with the team. Suggest workflow improvements that increase efficiency and quality. Continuously strengthen strategic thinking and business acumen. Qualifications Required 3+ years managing Amazon PPC campaigns. Strong understanding of Amazon Advertising. Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Experience with Amazon DSP. Experience with Pacvue, Quartile, Perpetua, or similar PPC platforms. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills. Experience using Asana or similar project management software. Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central.
