Lead AI Architect

We are looking for an experienced Lead AI Architect to help design a modern AI-native SaaS platform for knowledge-intensive professional services. This is a long-term freelance opportunity with the possibility of becoming part of the founding team. The role involves developing machine learning models, creating data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into our operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in AI, machine learning, and data science, and be able to lead projects from concept to deployment. Responsibilities • Design the complete software architecture • Design AI architecture (LLMs, RAG, AI Agents) • Design API architecture • Define cloud architecture • Define security architecture • Review technical designs • Guide software developers • Help make key technology decisions Preferred Technology • Python • FastAPI • LangGraph • OpenAI • Docker • PostgreSQL • Qdrant • REST APIs • Microsoft 365 • n8n Requirements • 10+ years software architecture • Experience building SaaS platforms • Experience with AI products • Experience with cloud-native architecture • Strong communication skills • Excellent English Nice to Have Experience with: • Enterprise software • AI Agents • Vector databases • Knowledge Graphs Engagement Initially 1 day per week.
