Lean Startup Consultant for AI Fintech

Seeking a Lean Startup Consultant to guide our AI Fintech pilot cohort and Freemium launch. Responsibilities include developing a go-to-market strategy, conducting customer discovery, and refining our business model. The consultant will also help identify key metrics and build a sales funnel. Experience with AI Fintech and Freemium models is essential. Affordia is an AI financial analyst for households — it connects a family’s accounts, finds concrete cost savings and income opportunities, and explains every recommendation in plain English. We have a working MVP, completed market validation (n=104), and a freemium go-to-market model (free diagnosis → founding-member pricing → $99/yr subscription). We’re moving from research into execution: a closed live-customer pilot in November–December 2026, followed by a commercial launch in Q1 2027. We’re engaging a Lean Startup / customer development specialist, on a fixed-fee milestone basis, to help us run this transition the right way — instrumented as a genuine Build–Measure–Learn cycle rather than a beta test we hope goes well. You’ll help us define the metrics that actually matter (innovation accounting, not vanity metrics), set pivot-or-persevere triggers before the cohort starts, and pressure-test the GTM funnel and channel experiments (including a SurveyMonkey survey-to-signup campaign) before we scale spend behind them. This is an advisory engagement, not a build role — you’ll work directly with the founder in structured working sessions, reviewing our existing customer-development mapping (Steve Blank / Eric Ries framework, already applied to our gate structure) and sharpening it for the pilot ahead.
