CA Licensed Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a California Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) to prepare and stamp mechanical plans for a restaurant tenant improvement project. The project involves installing a new Type I commercial kitchen exhaust hood using an existing hood opening and existing exhaust ductwork. The previous hood has been removed, but the duct shaft and roof penetration remain in place and were temporarily covered with ceiling tiles. Scope of Work: Verify the existing exhaust duct and opening are suitable for reuse. Prepare mechanical drawings and calculations required for permit approval. Coordinate the connection of the new exhaust hood to the existing duct system. Provide stamped plans for submission to the local building department in California. No structural modifications are anticipated, as the existing hood opening and ductwork will be reused.
