Licensing raw, unedited real-world video footage (b-roll style)
Worldwide
Job description: We're building a media library and looking to license raw, unedited real-world video footage from independent filmmakers, videographers, and content producers. This is an ongoing need, not a one-off, and we're open to working with multiple producers. We're specifically looking for existing footage you already have, from past shoots, projects, or personal archives, not new production. If it's sitting in your archive already, that's exactly what we want. What we're looking for: Raw, unedited footage (no cuts, no color grading, no added music/graphics) Real, physical-world footage showing genuine activity, people doing real tasks, trades, everyday work, physical skills, regional or cultural activity, etc. Landscape orientation 1080p or higher Continuous clips, ideally 1-2 minutes or longer per activity, not short cut-up segments Diverse subject matter preferred, unusual or niche settings and activities are especially valuable, generic/stock-style content is not What we're not looking for: Edited reels, montages, or produced content Screen recordings Stock footage you've already licensed elsewhere (needs to be footage you personally own full rights to) Footage with prominent copyrighted material in frame (music, branded content, TV/film playing in the background) Licensing terms (please read carefully before applying): We require full, exclusive rights to license, use commercially, and redistribute the footage we purchase, including the right to include it in a compiled dataset or library that may be shared with or sold to third parties. You must be the original creator and sole rights holder of any footage submitted, no footage that includes other people's copyrighted work, and no footage you don't have full clearance to license this broadly. If any identifiable people appear in the footage, you confirm you have their consent for the footage to be used commercially and redistributed under these terms. We will provide a standard licensing agreement covering these terms for every purchase. Budget: paid per minute of accepted, usable footage. Rate depends on subject matter and rarity, we'll discuss specifics once we see samples or a portfolio. To apply, please share: A portfolio or sample reel of raw footage you already have on hand (not final edited work, and not something you'd need to shoot) The type of subject matter/settings represented in your existing archive Roughly how much usable raw footage you have available
