Summary

Key Responsibilities: •Generate new business opportunities through strategic LinkedIn outreach. •Build genuine relationships with hiring managers and business leaders. •Engage and nurture Indigo People's existing LinkedIn network. •Identify and connect with new decision makers where appropriate. •Monitor LinkedIn for hiring activity, company growth and other buying signals. •Book qualified appointments for the Director. Pipeline Management: •Maintain an organised and well managed sales pipeline. •Record all conversations, notes and activities accurately within JobAdder. •Ensure every prospect has a clear next action or follow up date. •Develop structured follow up cadences to maximise conversion opportunities. •Ensure no genuine opportunities are lost due to inconsistent follow up. Marketing Collaboration: •Work with the Director and Marketing Manager to support marketing campaigns. •Follow up EDM campaigns through LinkedIn. •Connect with campaign recipients where appropriate. •Continue conversations generated through marketing activity. •Help maximise the return on marketing campaigns through consistent follow up. Continuous Improvement: •Recommend improvements to messaging, workflows and business development strategy. •Test new ideas and approaches to improve results. •Share feedback and insights that help strengthen Indigo People's sales process. Essential Skills & Experience: •Previous experience in sales, business development, SDR or lead generation. •Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. •Strong commercial awareness. •Highly results driven and goal orientated. •Strong sales mentality. •Excellent organisational skills. •Strong relationship building skills. •Ability to work independently. •High attention to detail. •Professional, trustworthy and reliable. Highly Desirable: •Recruitment agency experience. •Experience using LinkedIn for business development. •Experience using CRM systems, preferably JobAdder. •Experience working with outbound sales campaigns. •Experience writing personalised business development messages. •Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining authentic communication. AI may be used to improve efficiency, but authentic human communication and sound commercial judgement are essential. Success Measures: Success in this role will be measured by: •Qualified appointments booked for the Director. •High quality relationships built with hiring managers. •New recruitment opportunities generated. •Consistent growth of the sales pipeline. •Excellent CRM discipline and pipeline management. •Contribution to improving Indigo People's business development strategy. This role will become a key part of Indigo People's long term growth strategy by building a predictable pipeline of qualified business opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the business.
