Summary

We're looking for someone to become a long-term business development partner for our engineering company. We provide hardware product development services, helping companies develop physical products from concept through manufacturing. Our work includes mechanical engineering, product design, electromechanical integration, prototyping, DFM/DFA, CAD, and manufacturing support. This is not a high-volume outreach role. Quality is far more important than quantity. We want thoughtful, personalized outreach to highly relevant prospects—not automated spam. Your responsibilities: • Create and verify a LinkedIn account (using your own identity is fine) and represent yourself as part of our business development team. • Learn what our company does and understand our services well enough to communicate them naturally. • Identify and research qualified prospects based on our ICP. • Send personalized connection requests and follow-up messages. • Start conversations, answer basic questions, and qualify leads. • Hand off only qualified, interested prospects for founder calls. Prospecting options: • Work from a highly curated lead list that we provide. • Or build your own lead lists using our ICP and selection criteria. Ideal customers include: • Hardware startups developing physical products. • Companies building electronics, robotics, industrial equipment, medical devices, consumer products, and automation systems. • Decision makers such as founders, CEOs, CTOs, VP Engineering, Hardware Managers, Mechanical Engineering Managers, Product Development Managers, and similar roles. • Strategic partners such as PCB design firms, industrial design studios, engineering consultancies, and manufacturing partners that can generate referrals. What we're looking for: • Excellent written English. • Strong research skills. • Ability to understand technical services and communicate business value. • Experience with LinkedIn outreach and B2B lead generation. • Ability to personalize messages instead of sending generic templates. • Interest in building a long-term relationship with performance-based growth opportunities. The primary objective is simple: generate qualified conversations with companies that genuinely need hardware product development services and schedule meetings with interested decision makers.
