Summary

The PV plant’s hourly production forecast deviates from actual generation, causing systematic under‑forecasting or over‑forecasting. These deviations lead to avoidable financial losses — either by missing opportunities to sell more power at high‑price hours or by incurring imbalance penalties when actual output differs from scheduled output. A more accurate forecast reduces this leakage and increases realized revenue. I have a complete YEARLY Dataset in an xls format and need to provide some basic analysis on the upside that is being underserved. Will need to look at the WECC pricing as a historical data for comparison
