Local Freight & Fleet Coordinator

Job Description: We are a growing freight and logistics management provider looking for a reliable, proactive Local Freight & Fleet Coordinator based in Australia or New Zealand to assist us with local fleet coordination, carrier communications, and freight depot liaisons. This role focuses on liaising with local trucking companies, courier terminals, heavy transport depots, and freight dispatchers across key cities. Responsibilities: 1.Fleet & Carrier Liaison: Communicate directly with local freight operators, courier terminals, and transport dispatchers regarding fleet availability, freight quotes, and dispatch details. 2.Depot & Terminal Coordination: Connect with local depot staff, freight counters, or transport managers to clarify shipment statuses, driver schedules, and consignment paperwork. 3.Operations & Reporting: Provide prompt digital updates, verified shipping documentation, and clear operational summaries after communicating with local carriers. 4.Remote Follow-up: Perform necessary follow-ups via phone, email, or messaging with local transport partners based on provided guidelines. Requirements: 1.Must be currently based in Australia or New Zealand with reliable local transport and communication tools. 2.Strong, professional English communication skills (verbal and written). 3.Comfortable interacting with transport dispatchers, truck fleet operators, and freight terminal staff. 4.Reliable, organized, and quick to respond.
