Logo & Basic Branding Kit for Cybersecurity R&D Agency

Summary: We are seeking a designer to collaborate on the completion of a logo and branding kit for a cybersecurity R&D consultancy. ## About the project We are a cybersecurity consultancy and research unit: A "hacker-for-hire" operation serving businesses and private clients. We research and develop cutting-edge software, hardware, and exploits. We are proven professionals with roots in hacker culture, not corporate security theater. The cyberpunk edge is a signal of what we can actually do, but our branding needs to also convey the professionalism and trustworthiness our clients know us for. We have a clear vision for several specific elements. We need an artist to execute them cleanly and fill the gaps with genuine design sensibility. ## What we bring - Pre-done mockups to anchor direction - Specific requirements for the glyph (with room for your interpretation on the rest) - Locked-in font/typeface choices for some elements - Reference typefaces we like for the remaining choices (wordmark, strapline) We are looking for a collaborator who can take defined constraints and elevate them. ## Final Deliverables - Primary glyph: light and dark variants - Alternate glyph (simplified): light and dark variants For each variant of both glyphs: - Favicon (32×32) - Icon (128×128, or advise on standard sizes) - Full-size transparent PNG (512KB max) - SVG Plus: - Full logo lockup (glyph + wordmark + strapline) - Basic branding kit (color palette, typography specs, usage guidelines) ## Who we're looking for - Strong portfolio in logo/identity design — bonus for tech, security, or B2B work - Can bring the "edgerunner" spirit — sharp, a little dangerous — without tipping into cliché - Delivers production-ready files in correct formats and specs - Communicates clearly and iterates without hand-holding One more note: We want original, human-crafted work from a designer's own hand and judgment.
