Logo Designer Needed for Premium Private Tour Company in Queenstown, New Zealand

**Job Title:** Logo Designer Needed for Premium Private Tour Company in Queenstown, New Zealand **Job Description:** I am looking for an experienced graphic designer to create a refined, professional logo for a private premium tour company based in Queenstown, New Zealand. The company specialises in private and custom tours from Queenstown, including day tours, multi-day tours, private transfers, bespoke itineraries, and wider New Zealand travel experiences. The target market is high-end international travellers, including guests from the United States, Australia, Singapore, Europe, and China. The brand name is inspired by **latitude 45 degrees south**, which is approximately where Queenstown sits in the lower South Island of New Zealand. I would like the logo to feel connected to this idea of southern location, direction, travel, and place. One concept I am interested in exploring is a **southern-pointing compass arrow**, similar to something you might see on an old compass, but redesigned in a more modern, minimal, elegant, and premium way. The arrow could point directly south, while the surrounding circular detail could subtly reference latitude, compass markings, or the idea of 45 degrees south. I am also open to the designer’s own creative direction and professional judgement. Some possible visual elements could include: * A minimal compass-style arrow pointing south * Circular compass or clock-like notches around the symbol * A subtle reference to latitude 45° south * New Zealand silver fern elements used in a refined, circular way * Inspiration from the wings or colours of the New Zealand kea alpine parrot * A clean, premium emblem or brand mark that feels suitable for private touring The logo should feel like it belongs to a premium private tour company, not a generic outdoor brand, cheap tourist business, or cartoon-style adventure company. The overall feeling should be: * Premium * Elegant * Minimal * Timeless * Professional * Distinctive * New Zealand-inspired without being cliché * Suitable for high-end private clients I like a restrained colour palette, especially black, silver, charcoal, white, and possibly a subtle touch of gold. A light metallic feel could work, but the logo must still be practical and usable in simple flat colours. The logo needs to work well across: * Website * Business cards * Social media * Vehicle sign writing / vinyl * Polo shirt embroidery * Caps * Printed materials * Black-and-white applications Because of this, the design should not be overly detailed or intricate. It needs to be clean enough to stitch, print, scale down, and use as a professional brand mark. As a style reference, I like premium New Zealand private touring companies such as Black NZ. I can share links, inspiration images, rough ideas, and visual references with shortlisted designers. **Deliverables required:** * 2–4 initial logo concepts * Revisions on the chosen concept * Final logo in vector format * AI / EPS / SVG / PDF files * PNG and JPG exports * Transparent background version * Black version * White version * Full colour version * Icon / emblem version suitable for social media and uniforms * Horizontal version if appropriate **Potential for ongoing work:** For the right designer, there may be continued collaboration beyond the initial logo project. Future work could include creating abbreviated or mini versions of the logo, social media graphics, website design elements, brand assets, business card layouts, uniform/embroidery adaptations, vehicle branding concepts, and other visual materials as the company grows. **Ideal designer:** I am looking for someone with strong experience in premium logo design, brand identity, travel, tourism, hospitality, outdoor, or luxury service brands. I do not want a quick Canva-style logo or generic travel clipart. I am looking for a thoughtful, custom, well-balanced design that feels commercially usable and premium. **To apply, please include:** 1. Examples of your best relevant logo or brand identity work 2. Any experience designing for travel, tourism, hospitality, outdoor, or premium service brands 3. A short explanation of your logo design process 4. Confirmation that you can provide final vector files suitable for print, embroidery, signage, and web use 5. Your estimated timeline for initial concepts and final delivery
