Complete Modular Avatar System for a Unity Virtual World Game Hello, I am looking for an experienced 2D game artist (or team) who can create a complete avatar system ready for Unity for a virtual world game currently in development. This is not a request for a single character illustration. The goal is to create a scalable avatar system that can serve as the foundation of the game's character customization system for many years. I am looking for a complete Unity-ready solution, not just individual character artwork. Main Requirements • Character built from separate body parts (Paper Doll System). • All body parts delivered as organized layers and source files. • Full support for 8-direction movement: * Front * Back * Left * Right * Front-Left * Front-Right * Back-Left * Back-Right • Idle and Walk animations for all directions. • Modular clothing system including: * Shirts * Pants * Shoes * Hairstyles * Hats * Glasses * Accessories * Future equipment items • Proper layer structure and attachment rules for all clothing categories. • Animation-ready clothing structure for every equipment category. • Ability to add new clothing and accessories in the future without rebuilding the entire animation system. • Full compatibility between all clothing items and all animations. • System designed to support real-time equipment and clothing changes inside the game. • Clean production template for creating future clothing items. • Documentation explaining how future clothing, accessories, and equipment should be added to the system. • Full source files. • Assets prepared and organized for Unity integration. Art Direction An environment for the game already exists. I am looking for an artist who can create a character style that fits the existing world and environment. However, if a different visual direction would result in a stronger and higher-quality game, I am also open to redesigning and adapting parts of the existing environment so that the character, world, and overall artistic vision feel consistent and cohesive. Environment references and existing character examples are available and will be shared during the discussion to help explain the visual direction of the project. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is highly preferred: • Paper Doll Systems • Avatar Customization Systems • Virtual World Games • RPG Games • MMO Games • Character Equipment Systems • Unity Game Development Pipelines Please include relevant portfolio examples, especially any modular character systems, avatar customization systems, layered character setups, or similar game projects.
