Hi there, We are a digital marketing agency that works mostly with healthcare clients. We help clinics, doctors, and healthcare businesses grow through SEO, website development, content, reporting, and marketing systems. Because of the type of work we do, there are always a lot of moving parts. One day we may be reviewing content briefs, the next we may be writing and optimizing articles, doing keyword research, or helping the team figure out why a page is not ranking the way it should. That is part of the work, and honestly, that is also part of what makes it interesting. We are now looking for someone new to join the team. The first area we need help with is content writing with a strong SEO foundation. We are looking for someone who already knows how to research keywords, write content that people actually want to read, and optimize that content to perform well in search. You do not need to know everything, but you should know enough to look at a content brief, do solid keyword research, and produce an article that is clear, useful, and well-optimized. A Little About How We Work Our team is small and lean. That means we do not have a big corporate structure where every person only does one very narrow task. We work together, help each other, and take care of what needs to be done. Some days, your work may be focused entirely on writing and optimizing content. Other days, you may need to help organize a content calendar, coordinate with the SEO team, prepare notes for a client update, or look at a content issue from a bigger marketing perspective. This is not the kind of role where you just wait for someone to hand you every single step. We will guide you. We will support you. We will answer questions. But we also need someone who can do keyword research properly and come back with a well-written, well-optimized piece. We do not like micromanaging. We would rather work with people we can trust. What Matters Most to Us We need someone who understands SEO content writing, keyword research, and the tools used in this kind of work. Experience in the healthcare or physical therapy space is a strong plus, since the content we produce is often written for clinics, doctors, and medical businesses. We believe that skills matter, but character matters even more. We are looking for someone who cares about doing good work. Someone who is honest, reliable, and willing to learn. What You Will Work On Your main focus will be SEO content writing and keyword research. This may include: - Conducting keyword research using Ahrefs and/or SurferSEO - Writing long-form SEO blog posts and articles for healthcare clients - Optimizing existing content using SurferSEO content scoring - Reviewing and improving metadata, headings, and internal linking - Following content briefs and adapting your writing tone for different client brands - Identifying content gaps and opportunities across client websites - Organizing content calendars and tracking article status - Helping prepare internal notes or client-facing updates when needed - Collaborating with our SEO and web team members - Using tools like Ahrefs, SurferSEO, Google Search Console, Google Docs, and similar platforms You do not need to be an expert in every single tool. But you should be comfortable learning, testing, and improving your process as you go. The Skills We Are Looking For Non-negotiable: - Hands-on experience using SurferSEO for keyword research and content optimization - Familiarity with Ahrefs or a similar SEO tool for keyword and competitor research - Strong written English and the ability to write clearly for a general audience - Experience writing SEO-optimized long-form content assisted by AI tools Strong plus: - Experience writing for healthcare, physical therapy, or medical clients - Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics - Experience managing content for multiple clients simultaneously - WordPress or similar CMS experience - Remote work experience with clear async communication habits Quick note: If you made it all the way through this job post, please include the phrase “atomic habits” as the first line of your application or cover letter. A lot of us like going to the gym, staying active, trying new food, and talking about goals beyond client tasks and content calendars. We are not trying to create a stiff corporate environment. There will be deadlines, client requests, and articles that need to be revised. Compensation and Hours The starting rate for this role is $225 per month on a part-time/trial basis. As you grow into the role and continue showing strong ownership, reliability, and quality work, there will be opportunities for growth in both responsibility and compensation.
