Looking for a dramatic film scriptwriter

I’m looking for an experienced screenwriter to collaborate with me on expanding my completed short film screenplay into a feature-length film. The story is a character-driven psychological drama that explores identity, grief, regret, healing, and the tension between structure and creativity through two women of color whose lives become deeply intertwined. It blends emotional storytelling with surreal elements and is intended for the independent film festival market. I’m not looking for someone to take over the project—I want a true creative partner who can: * Expand the existing story into a compelling feature-length screenplay (90–120 pages) * Strengthen the overall structure, pacing, and character arcs * Brainstorm new scenes and subplots that deepen the emotional impact * Preserve the voice and themes already established while helping elevate the script to a professional level * Be open to collaboration, feedback, and creative discussion Ideal qualifications: * Experience writing feature-length screenplays * Strong understanding of character-driven dramas and psychological storytelling * Knowledge of screenplay structure and industry standards * Excellent communication and collaborative skills * Previous produced work or screenplay samples are a plus Please include: * A brief introduction about yourself * Relevant writing experience * Samples of your work (especially drama or psychological thrillers/dramas)
