Summary

I'm building cinemabhs - a faceless YouTube channel covering the on-set decisions, auditions, and behind-the-scenes stories that shaped the greatest films and TV shows ever made. Think analytical film documentary, not celebrity gossip or reaction content. I need an experienced scriptwriter for 1-2 voiceover scripts per week, long-term. A full production brief is attached - please read it before applying. Benchmark channels - please watch before applying: Knanuel — youtube.com/@Knanuel ScreenPuff — youtube.com/@ScreenPuff Benjamin Vomastek — youtube.com/@BenjaminVomastek HollywoodConfidential — youtube.com/@HollywoodConfidential FilmStack — youtube.com/@FilmStack What the role involves: Complete voiceover scripts of 1,600–2,800 words (10–18 min finished video) Structured to a specific production framework: hook, 2–3 themed sections, WTF facts, rehooks, legacy close Two-column format: narration left, clip direction right Source list with every script — accuracy is non-negotiable 24–48 hour turnaround Requirements: Proven YouTube scriptwriting experience, ideally documentary or essay format Native or near-native English — scripts are read aloud, phrasing must sound natural spoken Genuine interest in film and TV history — viewers notice when it isn't there Able to research from primary sources and verify every factual claim Rate: $35 per script, rising to $45–50 for consistently strong work. Bonus for videos exceeding 100,000 views. If shortlisted, a paid trial script will be commissioned before any ongoing commitment. Your application must include: Two links to previous YouTube scripts or finished videos in a similar niche Two to three sentences on why film and TV history specifically interests you One sentence on what you noticed about the benchmark channels and how cinemabhs would differ Portfolios without relevant samples will not be reviewed.
