MSP Networking & Azure Engineer (Managed Services) | Remote | Long-Term Contract Hourly Rate: $10–$12 USD/hour Hours: 30–40 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Long-term / Ongoing About the Role: We are looking for an experienced MSP Networking & Azure Engineer to join our managed services team. This is a long-term opportunity supporting multiple client environments across networking, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365. You'll serve as a technical resource for complex networking and cloud infrastructure while helping maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing client environments. Responsibilities: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and SD-WAN. Diagnose and resolve Layer 2/Layer 3 networking issues. Manage VLANs, BGP, OSPF, routing, NAT, DNS/DHCP, and QoS. Configure and maintain firewall security policies and VPN connectivity. Deploy, manage, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments. Administer Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery. Support hybrid on-premises and Azure environments. Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Conditional Access, and identity management. Assist with cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization projects. Document environments and technical procedures. Work directly with internal teams and clients to resolve technical issues. Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, or an MSP environment. Strong understanding of: TCP/IP Routing & Switching VPN Technologies Network Security Azure Networking Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Cisco Fortinet Palo Alto Ubiquiti VMware Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Familiarity with PowerShell is a plus. Nice to Have Cisco CCNP Microsoft Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect Certification Fortinet NSE VMware VCP CompTIA Security+ We're Looking For Someone Who: Has previous Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience. Can work independently and solve complex technical issues. Communicates clearly in English. Is comfortable supporting multiple client environments. Has excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills. Can begin immediately.
