Job Title: AI & Machine Learning Talent Sourcer (Recruiter Network Builder) Location: Remote | Full Time | Freelance Compensation: $1,000 USD/month + $1,000 Bonus Per Role Hired About Us We are a growing talent acquisition agency partnering with ambitious technology companies to build exceptional data organizations. We are currently expanding our network of recruitment partners to support a new US-based client specializing in Generative AI, Applied Machine Learning, and LLM Infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Talent Sourcer to help us identify, vet, and onboard top-tier freelance recruiters who specialize in the artificial intelligence and machine learning space. You will be the gatekeeper for our talent pool, ensuring we only work with recruiters who have a proven track record in hiring for highly technical, specialized AI roles. What You’ll Recruit You won’t be hiring AI professionals directly—your mission is to find and attract exceptional recruiters who have deep networks in the AI ecosystem. You will own the sourcing process for recruiters who have experience hiring for the following critical roles: Machine Learning Engineer (ML Engineer) AI Engineer / Applied AI Engineer NLP Engineer / Computer Vision Engineer LLM Engineer / Prompt Engineer AI Researcher AI Product Manager Head of AI / Director of Machine Learning This is a research-driven recruitment role. The best AI recruiters are rarely looking for new opportunities. Success comes from market mapping, relationship building, and uncovering exceptional passive talent who understand the nuances of MLOps, model deployment, and the AI tech stack. Approximately: 70% Sourcing & Outreach 30% Vetting, Candidate Assessment, and Coordination Key Responsibilities Market Map the AI Talent Space: Identify and map the recruiter talent market specifically for those who have placed ML Engineers, AI Researchers, and AI Leadership (Heads/Directors). Source Exceptional Candidates: Proactively find specialized recruiters through LinkedIn, Upwork, AI-focused professional networks, and niche communities (e.g., Hugging Face, Kaggle, OpenAI Developer Forums). Build Outreach Campaigns: Create and execute executive-level outreach to engage passive recruiter talent who understand the nuances of modern AI stacks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, Vector DBs, etc.). Conduct Specialized Vetting: Review applications to assess a recruiter’s ability to understand technical AI requirements (e.g., the difference between fine-tuning and RAG), assess their network strength, and evaluate communication skills. Manage Google Forms: Distribute and collect completed Google Forms from applicants, ensuring all required information is provided (including LinkedIn links and Loom recordings). Evaluate Loom Recordings: Review 2–3 minute video submissions to assess candidate communication skills, confidence, and ability to explain complex AI hiring scenarios (e.g., hiring for a Computer Vision Engineer vs. an NLP Engineer). Present Shortlisted Recruiters: Submit qualified recruiter profiles to our team for final review and selection. Maintain Pipeline: Track all applicants in our internal hiring sheet with appropriate AI-specific tags (e.g., "LLM Expert," "NLP," "MLOps," "AI Leadership") and statuses. How We Expect You to Source We will provide access to LinkedIn Recruiter. However, we expect our sourcers to go significantly beyond LinkedIn. Successful candidates in this role will regularly source through: Upwork and other freelance platforms (searching for recruiters with "AI" or "Machine Learning" projects). AI-centric communities (Hugging Face Forums, Kaggle Discussions, r/MachineLearning, AI Alignment Forum). Executive referrals from former AI/ML leaders and researchers. Recruitment communities and forums focused on technical AI hiring. Industry events and meetups (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL, AWS re:Invent AI tracks). Professional associations (IEEE, ACM). GitHub (to identify recruiters who understand code review processes for AI/ML). Research Platforms (arXiv, Google Scholar - to find recruiters who can speak to publications). We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys finding talent that other sourcers miss in the AI & Machine Learning vertical. Requirements 2–3+ years of recruitment or talent sourcing experience, with a strong focus on AI, Machine Learning, or Deep Tech roles. Experience hiring for positions such as Machine Learning Engineer, AI Researcher, NLP Engineer, or AI Leadership. Ability to speak the language of the AI world—you understand the difference between an ML Engineer and an AI Researcher, and you know where to find recruiters who hire them. Familiarity with vetting recruiters or other specialized talent is a strong plus. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal (you must be able to engage high-level AI professionals). Strong attention to detail (especially when reviewing applications and technical experience). Full-time availability (around 40 hours per week). Ability to work independently and meet weekly targets (5–10 recruiter profiles per week). Compensation $1,000 USD per month (base salary for the 3-month contract). $1,000 USD bonus for every recruiter you successfully place and who is hired by our client. Monthly payments. Initial project expected to last around 3 months, with the opportunity for a long-term partnership.
