Description: We are building a SaaS tool, an early-stage platform that converts complex business Excel workbooks into SaaS-style web apps. We are looking for a research and outreach specialist to help us find qualified beta/design partner users. Our target users are people who own business-critical spreadsheets in areas like Sales Ops, RevOps, FP&A, Finance Ops, compensation planning, quota planning, pricing, forecasting, inventory planning, and operational reporting. Your job will be to help us find and start conversations with people who may be willing to describe or share real workbook examples for MVP testing. Responsibilities: Research target users on LinkedIn, Reddit, and relevant communities. Identify people discussing painful Excel, spreadsheet, planning, reporting, or workflow problems. Build a simple qualified lead list. Draft thoughtful, non-spammy outreach messages. Engage carefully in relevant Reddit/LinkedIn conversations where appropriate. Drive interested people to our beta intake page. Track responses, pain points, objections, and common use cases. Help schedule discovery calls with qualified prospects. Important: This is not a generic social media posting role. We do not want spam, mass posting, or low-quality lead scraping. We want careful customer discovery and design partner outreach. Ideal candidate: Experience with B2B SaaS lead generation or customer discovery. Comfortable with LinkedIn research and outreach. Familiar with Reddit community norms. Strong written English. Able to understand business users such as Sales Ops, RevOps, FP&A, Finance, and Operations teams. Bonus: experience with Excel-heavy workflows, no-code tools, SaaS MVPs, or founder-led sales. Success metric: Within the first 2–3 weeks, we want a small pipeline of qualified workbook owners and 5–10 serious beta/design partner conversations.
