Marketing Assistant
Worldwide
We're looking for a reliable, detail-obsessed Marketing Coordinator to join our team long-term and become the engine room of our marketing function. About us We're Good Pair Days, a personalised wine retailer that's growing fast across Australia and the UK, with a brand our members love, a lot of that comes down to getting the small things consistently right. We're a small team by design. We believe great people using modern tools can outperform much larger teams. We value ownership, speed, and good judgement over process. About the role This is a hands-on support role. You'll own the recurring, behind-the-scenes work that keeps our marketing team running smoothly. If you take pride in things being accurate, on time, and done properly, you'll do well here. This is a remote, ongoing role, working an average 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to work more hours as required. The working hours can vary depending on the needs, but it will mainly be within AEDT business hours. What you'll do This is a varied role. Here's an overview of the main things we'll rely on you for: - Pull a daily sales and performance report for the team (sign-ups, churn, cost per sign-up) - Build and schedule our weekly and monthly member email newsletters - Reply to comments on our Facebook and Instagram ads in our brand voice - Collect and organise the customer photos and videos (UGC) we use in our ads - Repost and engage with our community on Instagram - Create simple graphics in Canva (e.g. newsletter banners, rewards and blog images, social posts) - Upload and check our new wines each week – bottle photos, details, and making sure everything is correct before it goes live - Create and prepare our weekly tasting cards for printing - Build our monthly loyalty badges and wine education assets - Manage the admin for monthly giveaways and other loyalty initiatives - Process our monthly customer feedback survey and pull out the key themes for the team If a few of these specific tasks are new to you, don’t be deterred from applying – we'll train you on all of it. Who we're looking for The person who thrives here is: - Incredibly diligent and reliable: when something is yours, it gets done, on time, without errors - Detail-obsessed: you notice the small things others miss - Proactive and self-sufficient: you work things out, solve problems, and keep moving without needing to be chased - Exceptionally organised: you can hold many small recurring tasks at once and never drop one - A strong written English communicator: you can pick up and write in our brand voice - Comfortable with tools: spreadsheets, simple design tools, and learning new software quickly - Curious about AI: keen to use it to work smarter Nice to have: - Previous experience in a marketing support, marketing operations, or admin role - Experience setting up or running recurring marketing processes (email, social, reporting) Equipment you'll need - A laptop - A reliable, high-speed internet connection How to apply Please write your application yourself, in your own words. Do not use AI tools like ChatGPT. We want to hear from the real you. In your application, please also tell us: 1. Looking back at your past work, what two projects were the closest match to this role, and what makes them similar? 2. Start your answer with the word "Blue", then tell us about the project you're most proud of, in exactly three sentences. 3. Tell us about a time a project went wrong, and exactly what you did to fix it. Please skip the generic phrases like "communication issues" – we want the specifics. 4. What's your experience with the Zapier-ChatGPT "Interlinks 2049" integration? What happens next We'll review all applications over the next few days and choose a small number of candidates to move forward. The next step is a short paid trial task, and the final step is a video call to meet you. We're excited to find the right person to join our team, looking forward to reading your application! *Note: Please only apply through the Upwork application portal. Any other contact through social or email channels will automatically rule you out. Thank you for understanding!*
