About Sonovia: Sonovia is an AI automation company that designs and builds intelligent systems for businesses. Our work includes AI-powered communication systems, WhatsApp automation, voice agents, operations automation, document and invoice processing, internal tools, dashboards, business intelligence, content intelligence, and custom workflow automation. We are growing our presence in Latin America and are looking for a highly proactive, creative, commercially minded person based in Venezuela (preferably Caracas) to help strengthen Sonovia’s brand, visibility, relationships, and business development efforts. This is not a traditional Social Media Manager position. We are looking for someone who can operate across marketing, communications, public relations, networking, social media, partnerships, and sales development. The right person should be comfortable representing a growing technology company both online and in person. What You’ll Be Responsible For: - Social Media & Brand Presence * Help manage Sonovia’s presence on LinkedIn and Instagram * Plan and coordinate a consistent content calendar * Develop ideas for posts, campaigns, educational content, founder-led content, case studies, company updates, and industry commentary * Write strong captions and copy in Spanish, with English being a plus * Identify relevant AI, automation, technology, and business trends that Sonovia can participate in * Help transform company projects, client results, and technical work into compelling public-facing content * Coordinate basic visual content and work with existing brand assets * Potentially explore TikTok or short-form video when strategically relevant * Maintain a professional, modern, credible brand presence - PR, Communications & Visibility * Identify opportunities to increase Sonovia’s visibility in Venezuela and Latin America * Research relevant business communities, technology ecosystems, entrepreneurship groups, chambers, associations, conferences, and industry events * Identify potential speaking opportunities, panels, collaborations, interviews, podcasts, and partnerships * Help develop relationships with relevant organizations, communities, founders, executives, and business leaders * Support outreach to potential strategic partners and ecosystem contacts * Think proactively about where Sonovia should be present and who Sonovia should know - Networking & Events * Identify relevant networking events, conferences, business gatherings, technology events, and industry opportunities * Attend selected events in Caracas as a representative of Sonovia when appropriate * Build genuine relationships with potential clients, partners, and referral sources * Follow up professionally with contacts after events * Help coordinate Sonovia’s participation in events, including branded materials, banners, stands, presentations, brochures, and other event collateral when needed * Help ensure that event participation is strategic and connected to real business opportunities - Sales & Business Development * Identify potential clients and commercial opportunities * Conduct thoughtful outreach when appropriate * Introduce Sonovia’s services clearly and professionally * Qualify potential opportunities before passing them into deeper sales conversations * Support follow-up with prospects * Help move relationships from initial conversation to genuine commercial opportunity * Actively look for opportunities to generate new business through relationships, partnerships, networking, referrals, and market presence - Who We’re Looking For You may come from a background in: * Marketing * Public Relations * Communications * Business Development * Sales * Partnerships * Events * Brand Strategy * Startup Growth We care more about your ability, judgment, communication skills, initiative, and commercial mindset than a specific job title. The ideal candidate is: * Based in Venezuela, preferably Caracas * Extremely proactive and comfortable working independently * Strong in communication and relationship-building * Comfortable speaking with professionals * Interested in AI, technology, automation, startups, and business * Able to understand complex services and communicate them simply * Creative, but also commercially minded * Comfortable attending professional events and representing a company * Organized with follow-ups and relationship management * Naturally aware of trends, opportunities, communities, and conversations * Able to write professional Spanish * English proficiency is a strong advantage * Comfortable with tools such as Canva, LinkedIn, Instagram, or similar platforms - Important: What This Role Is NOT We are not looking for someone whose only experience is: * Scheduling generic social media posts * Creating basic Canva graphics without strategy * Chasing likes and followers without business impact * Copying trends without understanding the company * Waiting for detailed instructions for every task We want someone who thinks: “What opportunity should Sonovia be pursuing next?” That could mean a LinkedIn post, a strategic introduction, a networking event, a partnership, a potential client, a conference, a collaboration, a media opportunity, or a new relationship. - Working Structure This will begin as a part-time freelance role through Upwork. For a strong long-term candidate, we are also interested in discussing a broader performance-oriented structure that may include: * A recurring monthly base * Additional compensation for approved in-person networking or business events * Significant commission opportunities for new client contracts directly originated by the candidate and successfully closed Our goal is to build a long-term relationship with someone who wants to grow alongside the company and benefit directly from the business opportunities they help create. - To Apply Please answer the following questions carefully.
