ABOUT THE ROLE This is a long-term, full-time, work-from-home position where you will OWN and drive the marketing and commercial support function for Crystal Chem, Inc. — a U.S. life sciences manufacturer that has served academic and medical research institutions worldwide for over 30 years. The role may also support an affiliated wellness clinic business. There is no marketing manager above you. You will take high-level direction from company leadership and then independently plan, create, and execute marketing initiatives. We want someone who will stay and grow into the role — not a quick gig. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Create and maintain distributor-facing marketing materials: sell sheets, product flyers, brochures, price lists, protocol summaries - Develop product positioning that communicates technical differentiators to a U.S. audience - Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns; track and report on performance - Conduct competitor research and market intelligence - Package commercial information for distributors and prospective partners - Support general business operations (order entry, documentation, customer communication) as needed - Learn and adopt new tools, including AI content and productivity tools - Communicate proactively with the U.S.-based team WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - A degree in life sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field — OR equivalent demonstrated ability to understand and accurately write about technical and scientific products - Strong, professional English writing for a U.S. audience - Ability to translate technical product features into compelling marketing content - Familiarity with content tools (Canva, PowerPoint, or similar); strong design sense valued over specific software - Willingness and ability to self-teach Google Ads and digital analytics (prior experience a plus) - Proficiency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) - A self-starter who takes ownership and does not wait to be told what to do - Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients (preferred) HOURS (HARD REQUIREMENT) You can be located anywhere, but you must maintain consistent daily overlap with U.S. Central Time business hours, approximately 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CT.
