We are looking for a **marketing consultant** to support a gym client launching a new site and to help turn that launch into leads, enquiries, and memberships. ## Role Overview 1. This role starts with building a clear launch marketing plan for a gym opening a new location. 2. The plan must cover **content, paid ads, email marketing, lead follow‑up, and chat‑based selling**, then move into hands‑on execution. 3. We want someone practical who can both think strategically and do the work. ## Key Responsibilities For this project we need someone to create the Marketing plan 1.1. Create a launch marketing plan for a gym opening a new site. 1.2. Define target audiences, offers, campaign messaging, channels, and launch phases. 1.3. Recommend the mix of content, paid advertising, email marketing, organic social, and lead follow‑up. Later on we would like you to be able to: 2. Campaign execution 2.1. Set up and run paid campaigns across relevant channels such as Meta and Google. 2.2. Monitor campaign performance and adjust targeting, creative, copy, and spend. 3. Lead nurture and sell by chat 3.1. Respond to inbound leads through chat and social channels in a professional, conversion‑focused way. 3.2. Qualify prospects, answer common questions, and move them towards enquiry, booking, or membership sale. 3.3. Follow up leads using structured messaging across chat, email, and related channels. 4. Email and content 4.1. Plan and execute email sequences for pre‑launch, launch, and post‑launch nurture. 4.2. Create or coordinate content to support the campaign including posts, offers, and promotional messaging. 4.3. Ideally create marketing copy and basic images/creative assets, although this is not essential. 5. Reporting and coordination 5.1. Track lead volume, cost per lead, conversions, and campaign performance. 5.2. Provide clear weekly updates, actions, and recommendations. 5.3. Work with the WGP team and client stakeholders to keep the launch on track. ## Required Skills & Experience 1. Proven experience as a **marketing consultant** or growth marketer for local service businesses, gyms, fitness studios, or similar businesses. 2. Strong capability in: 2.1. Marketing strategy and campaign planning. 2.2. Paid ads management. 2.3. Email marketing and lead nurture. 2.4. Social media lead handling and **sell by chat**. 3. Ability to take a campaign from strategy through to execution and optimisation. 4. Strong copywriting and messaging skills for offers, ads, email, and chat is optional 5. Comfortable working with CRMs, lead forms, automations, and campaign reporting. 6. Experience with: 6.1. Google Docs, Slack, collaboration tools. 6.2. Excellent written and spoken English. ## Nice to Have 1. Experience marketing gyms, fitness businesses, or membership‑based services. 2. Ability to create basic ad creatives, social images, and promotional assets. 3. Experience with landing pages, funnel tools, and CRM follow‑up workflows. 4. Experience handling inbound enquiries directly and converting them into booked calls, trials, or memberships. ## Engagement 1. Available Sydney, Australia business hours. 2. Remote work using Google Meet. 3. Variable hours per week depending on project needs. 4. Long‑term relationship preferred. ## 8What to Include in Your Application 1. A brief example of: 3.1. How you would structure a launch campaign for a new gym site. 3.2. How you would turn inbound social or ad leads into bookings or memberships. 4.
