Marketing Lead (Strategy + Execution) for Hardware Startup Accelerator

We're a Shenzhen-based hardware engineering team that works hands-on with funded hardware startups, taking products from idea to mass production. We're launching a hardware accelerator (a physical space in Shenzhen where founders base their hardware development) and we're looking for one sharp marketer to own brand and inbound as we scale it. This isn't a hand-off-a-deck role. We want someone to run with it: set the direction, do the work, and become part of the team. You think in funnels and positioning, and you're equally happy writing the LinkedIn post and scheduling it. — — — WHAT YOU'LL OWN Accelerator inbound funnel. Our flagship goal: build the funnel that gets hardware startups applying for space in the accelerator, from positioning through to applications landing in our inbox. Website / sales funnel. Manage changes to our site to support the new funnel: landing pages, application flow, conversion. Social media. LinkedIn is primary (writing and scheduling posts), plus growing our presence on X and likely Instagram. Video content. Manage external editors and resources, and write the scripts for our founder to record on the ground in Shenzhen. Brand. Make us the name founders think of when they think hardware development in Shenzhen. — — — YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU'VE Built inbound for a high-consideration B2B offer, where the sale is trust, not a quick transaction. Run founder-led / personal-brand social, not just company-page posting. Our strongest distribution asset is our founder, not a logo. Written LinkedIn content that actually pulled in leads, and can show it. Worked lean and self-directed: you take context and come back with a plan, not a list of questions. Native or near-native English. You read the feeds our audience (US hardware founders) reads. Bonus: experience in hardware, deep tech, startups/VC, or anything founder-targeted.
