Summary About Akbar Academy Akbar Academy is a premium education platform transforming the IGCSE & A-Level experience across the Middle East and beyond. We combine elite tutoring, high-quality teaching, creative content, and smart digital marketing to help students achieve top results. We are now entering our next growth phase and are looking for a strong Marketing Manager who can help us attract more students, improve our marketing strategy, build better funnels, and guide our content and advertising direction. Role Overview We are looking for a marketing-focused person who understands how to generate leads, convert parents and students, and grow an online education brand. You should be able to guide us on marketing strategy, paid advertisements, funnels, content direction, campaign planning, and how to bring more students into the academy. This is not an operations role. We are looking for someone who can own our campaigns end to end, from the first idea through to results, including paid ads, funnels, content, and automated email journeys. You would take ownership of the marketing direction and build a clear system for student acquisition. Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Student Growth Develop and refine marketing strategies that bring more IGCSE and A-Level students to Akbar Academy. Guide the team on increasing registrations through stronger campaigns, offers, and messaging. Identify the best marketing channels for growth, including social media, paid ads, email, WhatsApp, and landing pages. Help position Akbar Academy as a premium education brand in the Middle East. Plan campaigns around key academic periods such as Back to School, Ramadan, exam season, revision classes, and early registration periods. Ads & Funnel Guidance Guide the setup and improvement of advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, or YouTube. Strengthen our funnels from first contact through to registration. Review and improve landing pages, lead forms, free lesson offers, follow-up messages, and registration flows. Identify where parents or students drop off and suggest ways to lift conversion. Work with the team to create stronger offers and calls-to-action that encourage enquiries and sign-ups. Content Direction Help plan content that attracts parents and students across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms. Guide the team on what type of content should be created, including reels, short videos, testimonials, educational content, teacher clips, student success stories, and promotional campaigns. Create or review content briefs for designers, video editors, and caption writers. Ensure content supports the overall marketing goals and brand positioning. Suggest ways to make content more engaging, premium, and conversion-focused. Marketing Systems & Performance Help structure email, WhatsApp, and CRM follow-up journeys for leads. Review campaign performance and suggest improvements based on data. Track key metrics such as leads, enquiries, free lesson bookings, registrations, and conversion rates. Help build a clear marketing calendar and campaign plan. Use AI tools where helpful to improve marketing content, campaign planning, and execution speed. You Might Be a Fit If You Have strong experience in marketing, student acquisition, lead generation, or online education growth. Understand paid ads, funnels, content marketing, and conversion strategy. Can guide a team on how to attract more students and improve registrations. Know how to create marketing campaigns that speak to both parents and students. Have experience with social media content, email/WhatsApp follow-up, and landing page conversion. Are proactive, strategic, and able to give clear marketing direction. Can work in a fast-moving, founder-led business environment. Are comfortable using AI tools to improve marketing speed and quality. Logistics Remote role. Middle East timezone alignment preferred. Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week ongoing. Higher hours may be expected in the first 4–8 weeks while the marketing strategy, funnels, and campaigns are being improved. Pay range: $10–20 per hour, depending on experience and scope. Bonus Points For Experience with education, tutoring, or online learning businesses. Experience marketing to parents and high school students. Experience with IGCSE, A-Level, British curriculum, or Middle East education markets. Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads, or lead-generation campaigns. Experience with GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Zapier, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of landing pages, funnels, offers, and lead nurturing.
