# Children’s Book Marketing Specialist Needed for Measurable Sales Growth I am looking for an experienced book marketer to help increase qualified visibility and measurable sales for my published children’s picture book, *There’s a Moose in My Attic*. The book is written for children ages 4–8 and helps children and adults talk about mistakes, worry, honesty, and the relief that comes from telling the truth. The book is already available on Amazon. I also have an author website, Goodreads page, digital review copy, professional marketing assets, and active Amazon advertising campaigns. I am not looking for generic social media posting, purchased followers, inflated impression counts, mass outreach, or vague promises of exposure. I need someone who can evaluate what is already in place, identify the strongest opportunities, execute a focused strategy, and measure whether the work is producing qualified traffic, sales, reviews, leads, or legitimate promotional opportunities. ## Primary Goal The primary goal is to increase book sales while building awareness among audiences likely to purchase, recommend, review, or use the book. Relevant audiences may include: * Parents and grandparents of children ages 4–8 * Elementary teachers and school counselors * Child therapists and play therapists * Homeschooling families and organizations * Librarians and literacy professionals * Children’s-book reviewers, bloggers, podcasters, and relevant media ## Initial Fixed-Price Project This engagement will begin with a defined fixed-price milestone. The first milestone should include: * Review of the Amazon listing, author website, current advertising, audience positioning, and existing marketing materials * Identification of the strongest target audiences and sales opportunities * A written 30- to 90-day marketing strategy * Recommended marketing channels and budget allocation * Clear performance measures and a reporting plan * Setup, revision, or launch of the first agreed-upon campaigns * A list of specific deliverables, deadlines, and costs not included in the quoted price Please propose the fixed price for this initial phase and clearly identify what you will deliver. Continued work may be offered after the first milestone based on the quality of the strategy, execution, communication, transparency, and measurable progress. ## Potential Ongoing Work Depending on the strategy and results, future work may include: * Amazon Ads management and optimization * Meta advertising * Social media campaign development * Ad creative and content development * Outreach to reviewers, educators, therapists, librarians, homeschool organizations, podcasts, and media * Promotional partnerships and placement opportunities * Website and Amazon conversion improvements * Retargeting and audience development * Campaign tracking, analysis, and reporting ## How Success Will Be Evaluated Relevant measures may include: * Book sales attributable to the campaign * Advertising cost per sale * Return on advertising spend * Qualified traffic to Amazon or the author website * Amazon listing or website conversion improvements * Outreach response rate * Legitimate review, interview, partnership, or placement opportunities * Growth in relevant retargeting or email audiences Impressions, views, followers, posts published, and emails sent will not be treated as meaningful results by themselves. Any sales projections must be clearly labeled as projections. Do not present estimated, modeled, or projected results as verified historical performance. ## Ideal Candidate You should have: * Demonstrated experience marketing books, preferably children’s books * Evidence of campaigns that produced measurable sales, qualified leads, reviews, or partnerships * Experience with Amazon Ads, Meta Ads, audience targeting, conversion tracking, and campaign reporting * Strong outreach and partnership-building skills * A clear understanding of CTR, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, and ROAS * Accurate and transparent reporting practices * The ability to identify weak assumptions and recommend changes based on evidence * Familiarity with Amazon review policies, FTC disclosure requirements, and ethical marketing practices ## Proposal Requirements Please answer each of the following: 1.
