Request for Proposal (RFP): CFF_PB,V04 Mechanical Design and Build Project Budget: $? +/- (Fixed Price) Project Duration: 49 Days This Request for Proposal (RFP) invites qualified contractors to submit proposals to produce Mechanical Design Drawings and build prototypes of the innovative Cross Flow Fan with Paired Blades, Version 04 (CFF_PB,V04). See design concept details in the accompanying pdf document, "CFF_PB_V04_DwgManu.pdf". Project Description. The CFF_PB,V04 features a turntable with a left and right pipe‑segment housings having a top and bottom openings. At its core is a drum‑shaped impeller consisting of a sun rotor and multiple planet rotors, with each planet rotor having paired blades (wing and flap). During operation, the impeller draws air in through the top opening and blows it out through the bottom opening. The selected contractor will produce Mechanical Design Drawings and Build CFF_PB,V04 prototypes. Proposal Requirements. You must submit a Proposal with attached Statement of Work (SOW) in PDF format, including: Proposed fee. Estimated completion date. List of deliverables. And summary of relevant rotor machinery experiences, particularly on rotary fans and cross‑flow fans (CFFs). You must demonstrate proficiency and explicitly commit to using a CAD tool such as ANSYS. Completion Schedule, Suggested (49 Days, 9 Milestones).
