# Camera Ingest Dock Redesign ## Project Overview Building a wearable camera platform for collecting first-person video data for physical AI applications. We are looking for a mechanical engineer to redesign our camera ingest dock into a production-ready product. The dock is a multi-camera charging and data transfer station used to charge, organize, and rapidly offload data from wearable cameras after field use. ## Product Requirements The dock should: - Hold and charge approximately 16 wearable cameras. - Support high-speed data transfer from multiple cameras. - Provide a simple workflow for operators to insert, remove, and manage cameras. - Be durable enough for daily industrial use. ## Mechanical Design Scope The redesign will focus on: - Industrial design and user experience. - Camera alignment and connector reliability. - Cable management and internal organization. - Thermal management. - Serviceability and modularity. The design should be optimized for manufacturing using processes such as injection molding, CNC, or sheet metal fabrication. ## Deliverables - Complete CAD design. - Mechanical drawings. - Prototype-ready files. - Manufacturing recommendations. - Support through prototype iterations. ## Ideal Candidate Experience with consumer electronics, industrial product design, injection molding, mechanical assemblies, and working with manufacturers is preferred. This project is part of Oceli’s larger AI hardware platform, combining wearable cameras, data infrastructure, and robotics AI systems.
