Mechanical/Tool & Die Engineer for Industrial Image Annotation

Job Description We are looking for detail-oriented Mechanical Engineers, Tool & Die Engineers, CAD Designers, Manufacturing Engineers, or professionals with experience in mold/die engineering to join a long-term AI data annotation project. The work involves reviewing industrial images and accurately identifying and annotating engineering components using our web-based annotation platform. Prior annotation experience is helpful but not mandatory. Comprehensive project-specific training will be provided. Responsibilities Annotate industrial images according to project guidelines. Identify and distinguish engineering components such as nozzles, sliders, ejector pins, cores, cavities, runners, gates, and other die/mold-related parts. Perform segmentation, polygon annotation, or other labeling tasks using the provided platform. Follow detailed annotation instructions and maintain high accuracy. Meet daily productivity and quality targets. Participate in calibration sessions and incorporate feedback. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Experience with injection molding, die casting, mold design, press tools, CNC machining, or manufacturing processes. Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, or AutoCAD is a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to understand technical drawings and industrial components. Good English communication skills. Reliable internet connection and a computer/laptop. Nice to Have Previous experience in image annotation, segmentation, or data labeling. Experience working with AI/ML datasets. Quality assurance or inspection experience in manufacturing.
